美國實境節目先驅 Bunim/Murray Productions 將停止使用 FCP 改用 Avid

美國實境節目(Reality TV)先驅 Bunim/Murray Productions 最近做了一個決定，他們2012所有節目將不在使用 FCP ，而全部改用 Avid Media Composer 6 或 Avid Symphony. Bunim/Murray Productions 是什麼樣的公司呢？他們是 The Real World 節目的製作公司，The Real World 可以算是美國新世代實境節目的鼻祖，也是美國播出最長的節目之一（到目前為止已經播了18年），他們的 senior vice president of Post Production 在 Avid 的新聞稿說 “...it was clear that the company has really forged ahead since we worked with them years ago. Their commitment to the needs of their professional customers, like us, is clear. 重點不是他們選擇了什麼，是他們需要什麼！最近我有聽到一種說法是這樣的...「你要選擇未來，還是現在？」他們認為以 Apple 強勢主導 iPhone/iPad 的威力，日後 FCP 一定能入法炮製，甚制訂定新工業標準（Industry Standard），所以你要選個功能強大，但未來無望的軟體，還是全新思維，為未來設計，仍處於慢慢蛻變期的軟體！不過...你要怎麼確定他們看到的未來是「對」的呢？
